Nestoria announces the winners of their API hacking contest. I really love the secondhand clothes mashup: find Oxfam shops in pricey neighbourhoods, where there are likely to be lots of designer clothes donated.

Three random cool things I’ve discovered on US real estate sites:

  • Zillow have a property guide wiki on their site, which has all kinds of information about buying and selling real estate.
  • Also at Zillow, Make Me Move, a tool where you can secretly input the “magic price” that would make you move out of your home, without actually putting it on the market. Then people can email you anonymously with offers.
  • Active Rain, a community website for US-based realtors to “promote and grow their business”. Wonder whether Australian agents would be into that?

And finally: not only does my boss have a blog but now he’s a Youtube movie star. I reckon it’d be better if he were waving a light saber or lip syncing to a catchy song rather than talking about, you know, work, but I guess you can’t have everything.
