I'd say on the whole I'd rather they existed than not, because if you took away Digg, would you also take away Slashdot? And then what? Digg's not usually to my taste as a community, but I'd rather it existed than not. As for my experience of being Dugg -- I'm mostly delighted at being popular/famous for my 15 minutes, and I hope it'll translate into ongoing readership and discussion over on GE. Alec: I dunno.
