As to brightness, I'd say that at the maximum brightness (setting 20) it's about on par with a 60W or 75W incandescent lightbulb: a decent brightness for a room where you're doing stuff, but not *really* bright. In looking that up I notice that they've reduced the price since last I looked. I might allow myself to be tempted at that price, esp. after a positive recommendation. I find that many of my attempts at improving my sleep schedule work well for a couple of weeks while I'm all excited about my New Plan, but I eventually drift back into my suboptimal patterns :/ If this works long-term for you, I'll definitely have to think about getting one!
